pvc compounding

Plasticised PVC is a unique thermoplastic material, which can be compounded to meet a wide range of diverse applications. In addition to a range of Standard grades there are also low migration, flame retardant, oil resistant and low temperature grades. Berwin can also formulate many other grades such as those designed for the food and medical industries and low fogging, low marring grades for the automotive industry.

We can produce materials ranging in hardness from a very soft 35 Shore A to a semi-rigid 99 Shore A in a variety of different colours. A full colour match service is provided to meet industry standards or customer samples.

PVC compounds can be developed to meet the requirements of many industries ranging from both British and European standards through to customers’ own specifications.

We can design compounds for calendering, extrusion and injection moulding processes. PVC alloys can also be designed for more demanding applications e.g. PVC/NBR, PVC/PU.

PVC based compounds are presented in pellet form in 25kg bags (palletised), octaboxes, plastic bins and discharge boxes
