Berwin is the premier custom compounder in the UK. Further more, over the next few years we aim to strengthen this position and become a major force in the European compounding market. We have now appointed European based agents to support the business in mainland Europe.

Our management team is a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed group of individuals keen to see the business grow both within the UK and Europe. Berwin has the right skills and neccessary desire to achieve this target.

We believe that compounding is a technical business. This is underlined by the fact that eight of the management team have a degree or equivalent in Polymer Science & Technology with over 150 years cumulative experience in the polymer industry.
This coupled with a custom built Technical Centre gives Berwin the edge in this competitive business.

Significant investment over past years has ensured that we have maintained a leading position in the UK compounding market. Investment in plant and machinery has now reached more than €7.5m since 1998.

The focus of recent investment has been to improve the mechanical systems employed to manufacture rubber and PVC compounds in order to achieve the highest levels of quality, reliability and repeatability. This requirement is backed up by a fully audited ISO9001: 2000 quality system and ISO14001 environmental quality system.
